Ten weeks

I am so excited to be ten weeks pregnant today! This pregnancy, so far, has been seemingly easier than the first (and the first was not hard). I am trying to cherish every day since this will be the last time I will be pregnant. This will be my last little baby, and my first little baby is already going to be two next week!

I have had some nausea and headaches, and I am more tired than usual. Nick and Jace really keep me on my toes, though, so I don't have time to dwell on any ailments. I am already gaining weight this time around, whereas last time at this point I had lost weight. I am almost exactly what I was with Jace at ten weeks - 138.6 pounds, and I don't hope to get any bigger than what I did with him. Maybe I am just making up for the future by eating more carbs now, since I know I won't be able to in a few weeks.

Since my pregnancy isn't officially public yet, it kills me every day when I want to tell someone! I finally told my boss this week about the baby because it might be a couple of months before he is in our office again (and I don't think that is an appropriate phone call). He was very happy for us. Now, this weekend, I need to tell most of my friends and any family members that may not know. Although we haven't necessarily told, word evidently travels fast when you have excited grandmothers. :) I wonder if my mom is hoping for Boy #5 or Girl #1. ??

Nick and I have also decided that, for purposes of writing, we will refer to this baby as Baby K. Why Baby K? Because "K" comes after "J" in the alphabet, and Jace was Baby J. I hate to disappoint all of our friends and family members with wonderful "K" names, but we don't intend on giving the baby a name that starts with a "K". (Although, I think all of your names are beautiful!) Nick has decided that, for now, we are keeping our names under zipped lips. We will see how long his resolve lasts. You may hear them with in a couple of weeks. ;)

So, Baby K is awesome in my tummy and I am sad that my pregnancy is 1/4 over. Baby K will be here to meet his or her big brother before we know it!
