One month old

We are so excited that our little Jack is one month old! We have been so busy that I have been neglecting our blog. Jack has been a great baby so far. He is still pretty consistently eating every three or four hours. We think he is going a little longer each day so I hope I get to catch up on sleep soon.

This week I had a wonderful shower at my work. Jack got a bouncer and infant carrier (which I really wanted) along with lots of outfits and toys. We also had cake from the SugarShack which is absolutely awesome. We are so blessed to have so many great people that love us!

Jack is over nine pounds now. According to our scale this week he was 9.2 pounds. He has relatively few problems, except that he either vomits or spits up quite a bit. (I am not sure if it is really vomiting or just a ton of spit up - way more than I have seen on other kids or that Jace ever did.) If he keeps it up, or if his wet and dirty diapers suffer, then I am going to call Dr. Amir. He doesn't seem too upset about it normally, so maybe he is just over eating or he just has a lot of spit up.

The boys are wonderful, though, and I am feeling pretty good. I am sad that a month of my little baby's life has already gone by, but really happy about it too. Jace loves his baby brother and he will be thrilled when Jack is big enough to play with him!
