Nursery

Jace and I finally got some time to work on the Baby's nursery this weekend. Of course, Nick helped somewhat but he probably didn't have as much fun looking at the baby items as we did. Just like Jace, Baby K will have the light maple crib and dresser that Aunt Britnee and Uncle Eric used for Charlee.

The John Deere pictures are the same ones that were hanging in our office. The little blanket that Baby K got for Christmas says "I'm a little John Deere sprout". Too cute!

Jace picked out the second blanket because it was the same as the one that Baby Abby uses. He cuddles up next to the blanket and says "I love this blankie, I love it so much!" Sometimes he also tries to steal it for himself. :)

We also have four new outfits for Baby K which I will need to wash. Jace was very helpful in showing them off. (He also has an "owie" by his eye from when he banged his head into the cart at Sam's Club. Silly boy.)

Having Baby #2 means that we have a lot of things, so we won't need a lot of new. We have stocked up on diapers and some formula. Even though I plan to breastfeed for awhile, I won't do it for a whole year, so we are stocking up each time we go to Sam's Club. Of course there are nay-sayers that say I shouldn't do this (in case the new baby has allergies for example) but hopefully we will be okay.

This baby is so active and I can't wait to meet her! I can't really compare everything to my first pregnancy, but I feel like I am carrying the same. I also feel like this baby is more on the right side of my body and my right leg falls asleep. I hope that my pregnancy ends the same, too - with an easy labor!
