35 weeks!

This week we got to meet Dr. LaFavor for the first time. She was so nice and Nick and I immediately liked her. She is probably about my age, with two little boys of her own. Maybe she will get to deliver me. Who knows?

Baby K's heartbeat was 145, still lower than what Jace's generally was. She didn't say anything about the baby being head down, but I assume she still is. She also did my Group B Strep test and also checked my cervix. I am dilated to a one, so not much movement yet, but I didn't expect much at a little over 35 weeks.

This weekend an old classmate and her husband lost their baby. He was about the same age as Colby. I am so saddened by it I could hardly sleep all weekend. I know that God has a plan for everything but I can no longer imagine how I would live without one of my children. It is so heartbreaking and I will continue to pray for them, even though I am sure that nothing can bring them solace at this time.

Only one month to go of pregnancy as of today. I don't want it to end but I can't wait to see our little baby! Nick and I really wavering on whether we think it is a boy or a girl. At this point, I think I am thinking more "girl" than "boy", but I am not going to bet any money on it. We will just have to patiently wait and see...which is okay. We can't wait for a positive surprise.
