This week has been a hard one. Great Grandma passed away and we will miss her so much! I am so sad that she will not meet Baby K. She has 13 great grandchildren and Baby K will be #14.
I visited Dr. Vereen this week at 33 weeks. Baby's heartbeat was 156 - higher than it has been, but he said that was perfectly normal. He also said that the baby was head down, although it still could flip at this point.
Speaking of flipping, the baby is so big it feels like it is doing gymnastics in there. It is amazing and wonderful. I love it so much. I also love Jace asking to see and kiss and hug my belly ("his baby"). I am sad that I will not be pregnant again, but of course happy that I will be having my baby soon. So, mixed emotions.
Baby Kai was born yesterday and hopefully we will be meeting him soon. He looks very cute in his pictures and I am sure that Baby K will enjoy playing with him in the future.
I also got a pedicure this week. Well, if you remember, I got a pedicure with Kristen in July 2009 before we had our babies. The little old Asian lady doing my nails predicted that I would have a boy and she would have a girl. We laughed it off and didn't think anything of it - but she was totally accurate!. The (much younger, probably my age) Asain gal that did my nails said, "You have boy!" with no prompting from me! So crazy! So now I am wondering...I guess we will see in a few weeks if she is right or not. Just thinking about it has got me excited for another boy, but I know that there is about a 50/50 shot either way. :) Anyhow, it gives me something happy to look forward to on such a sad week.
