Aunt Michelle had her beautiful baby boy this morning. His name is Tristan and he looked handsome, so it makes Nick and I all the more excited to see our little man or lady. I can tell Nick really gets baby fever when he sees other babies.
Baby K moves all the time and I love it. I can feel him twisting and turning and pushing out both ends of my stomach. I never want it to end, even though it feels like a little alien.
I am not very excited for tomorrow because I will have another glucose test and I am afraid I am going to fail. I have been having a lot of blood sugar problems and feeling very sick during the day. My levels will get high and then crash later one. The other day I came home and I felt so ill that I thought I might not be able to drive (I know, not safe) and my blood sugar was 59. I knew I was having problems when I was in NH and I was eating poorly, but I haven't had many problems at home until now. I think I have just been so busy at work that I am forgetting to eat enough.
Of course, I know that watching my diet is best for me and baby, so I have already started doing so.
Nick is coming around to my and Jace's current way of thinking, that we might be having a little girl. However, this could change several times for the whole family before we meet him or her in February. We don't care, as long as it is a healthy baby. We can't believe that next Christmas we will be a family of four! (Wait, or five, six, seven, eight...with all of our furry children. :) )
