Last week I visited Dr. Jones and Baby K's heartbeat clocked in at 134. Perfect! Maybe a little boy, since the old wives' tale says that anything around 140 is a boy. :)
We had a wonderful Christmas with family and Baby K even got a couple of cute gifts. A sweet John Deere blanket and a sock monkey were included from Baby K's grandparents.
Jace is getting so excited to be a big brother. He hugs and kisses the baby (my stomach) all the time and wants to "see the baby". It is so cute and we hope he is good with the new addition!
Today Nick and I got the baby's room more finished by bringing up clothes and necessities from storage and putting in the dresser. Now we are ready to go whenever the baby arrives. I hope s/he doesn't come any time soon, though, since we still have eight weeks left.
We saw a pregnant Kristen this weekend and I can't wait for us to have more kids to grow up together. Our little one will also be very close to his cousin Colby, who is just six months old and cute as a button on Christmas. I also got to meet Baby Tristan and his mom did a very good job with him. Our kids will be so close, too! And, Stephanie will be having her baby Kai in a week or two and I will be excited for our family to meet him, too. I love having all of these babies around - they will be all grown up before we know it.
