Last Thursday Nick and I got to see our Baby K in the flesh! Well, sort of...at least on the screen. We were so excited. The nurse took various measurements for us, including the head, femur, abdomen and probably a bunch of other things we couldn't understand. Dr. Hamburger reviewed them and said Baby K looks perfect! All of the measurements were good and he or she is still between 18 and 19 weeks.
The baby's heart was ticking away at 144 bpm. The only real concern I had was my sinus infection/allergies/cold. Dr. Hamburger didn't want to put me on antibiotics and pretty much suggested I tough it out. Oh, well, small price to pay.
Below is a picture from our ultrasound, and some boys anxiously awaiting the new baby. Jace is adamant that he is getting a sister, although we are still pretty sure he doesn't know what "sister" means. :)
Here is our newest addition! This baby seemed to be much more relaxed than Jace usually was.
Punch will no longer be the baby!
Oscar and Deuce have been through this rodeo before. I am sure they are dreading it! :)
Neither Nick nor Jace wanted to smile too much for me, they are such goof balls.
