Its positive!

The day before Father's Day, I found out that Nick and I are expecting Baby #2! I made the announcement to him in a Father's Day card and he was ecstatic, too.

We have been praying and trying for Baby #2 for a long time, and are very happy that Jace will have a little brother or sister. This month we did not expect it. We had a family friend, Sue, pass away. Then came the flooding of the Missouri, where I helped out with coworkers' homes. We also got water in our own basement, and cleaning that up I fell and hurt my knee pretty badly. Plus, I had an infected tooth. I tell you what! We barely had time to think about Baby J, and maybe that was the key to getting pregnant.

I was not able to celebrate with a glass of wine on my 30th birthday, but it was still one of the best birthdays of my life.

So far, this pregnancy has been uneventful, but it is still very early. Since it will be my last pregnancy, I am going to try doubly hard to document every step on this journey. I still love reviewing Jace's journey, and we are so excited to go through it again.
